I was assaulted by a couple of teenagers for no apparent reason this lunchtime and spent the afternoon with the police and then at Addenbrooks A&E.
It's just bruising, and I can still see out of it (just about), but it is looking rather ugly. (The localized swelling near cuts has actually gone down quite a lot from immediately afterwards, but the overall puffyness has come up.)

Yikes. Sorry to hear that, and hope it clears soon. And damn, that sort of thing is scary to hear about - you don't expect this of a lunchtime, unprovoked and (presumably) not anywhere especially "dodgy"?

(Meanwhile, I find it ironic that my google ads to the right are trying to sell me medieval helmets and chainmail!)
