I'd assumed that the Daleks were the enemy in the time war, but now it's confirmed. Stairs were better done than last time, but the final suicide was just showing off the special effects, I think.
I'm a bit dubious about the whole Rose's DNA thing, but I'm sure there have been worse Dr Who plot points.
