Mother's Day
Mar. 21st, 2004 03:32 pmHad lots of people over on Saturday night for a candlelit dinner. It wasn't planned to be quite so candlelit, but we had a powercut from about 8pm till 5am.
Wind blew over the little umbrella-ish willow outside the kitchen door - cat scratching had definitely weakened it (bark missing half way round the stem where it cracked - Meg, Pam's half-wild cat). Oh well, that bed was overplanted anyway, and the tree did overhang the paving at a point where it was narrowed on the other side.
