armbTook Sophie to the vet for post-op checkup. Tooth (or rather the hole where it was) is fine, but we failed to get the urine sample for kidney function test because she refused to use her litter tray with the non-absorbent granules. How she lasted till 11am when normally she wakes us in the early morning I don't know, but we'll have to try again later.
Gardening, including finishing putting bubblewrap up in greenhouse. It would have been better to do it before the frost, but at least plants waiting to go in for the winter were under cover.
Family cycle outings in Ickworth Park and Thetford Forest, the latter with Frodo (the puppy) along too, which he loved.
Fitted my dynamo to a Dynashoe. After a short run, I think dynamo and EL-300 will be adequate for commuting without the main light (a long-discontinued Specialized Proview). I also bought a new bracket like this for the light, which shouldd improve things a bit. (I now think the NiCds in the Specialized aren't quite as worn out as I thought before, I just need to be more careful about charging them. I do, however, need to make up a new power lead from the battery pack to the light head before that's usable.)
