Nevada voter registration fraud

Nevada voter registration was apparently done (at least in part) by a private company, funded by the National Republican Committee, which has failed to register Democrats. The deadline for registration has now passed, so it's too late for people who thought they had registered.

One of the articles says the Governor could extend the deadline if he wanted to. As he is a Republican this seems unlikely.

Not that I regards Republicans as dishonest but the guy is a politician so unlikely to do the right thing when it is not in his interest to do so.

True, it's not beyond hope of fixing, the governor might decide that being seen to do the right thing is in his interest. And elsewhere Republicans are complaining about Democrats.
I'm just boggled that it's gone this far. I'd kind of hoped people would learn a lesson after the Florida felon list mess.
