Took the Audi to Nice's in Waterbeach. Barry has an idea about what might be causing the problem, but it isn't fixed (if he's right it needs a part that his supplier didn't have in stock - but his workshop guide and the suppliers list show it as different things (temperature sensor/temperature switch - if it really is a switch then being (sometimes) open circuit might not be a problem after all)). To-do - talk to Vindis about it. I had got dipped beam headlights working again beforehand.
At least we have a working shower now.
