Hamster update

The stitches have come undone a bit, but he seems to be ok. The vet said putting more stitches in was probably more dangerous than leaving it, and that she's never successfully put an anti-biting collar on a hamster, they just get distressed, but doesn't think he bit the stitch that pulled out anyway. Being prey type animals with eyes on the side for all round vision I suppose it's not surprising they get more upset by a funnel collar than cats or dogs.
Alice and the boys are back from North Wales where they had been for a week with C. and her children, Rory is pleased hamster seems to be recovering (and that it wasn't killed and replaced with another hamster, as some factions suggested).
