I moved a paving slab that was leaning against the shed wall, and there was a bat clinging to it.
My bat identification skills arepoor non-existent, and as soon as I realized it was there I put the slab back to avoid disturbing it further, so no detailed description or photo.
Google finds some bat identification guides, but none aimed at "you had a quick glimpse of a roosting bat, what is it".
But still - bat (at least it had fur and skinny membranous things that looked like folded wings).
It was hanging head upwards. I think it was a not Long-eared not Horseshoe-nosed bat, so I'm guessing a Pipistrelle.
