Garden, walk

Early potatoes are looking like a small jungle. Maincrop ones have now appeared too, and the fourth square has lettuces. Tomatoes now in grobags (some in greenhouse, some outdoors). Put chili seedlings into pots. The aquilegia in the main bed is fading, but alliums now fully out as purple pompoms. Squashed more greenfly on rosebuds (we aren't organic gardeners, but a couple of roses are close to the vegetable squares, and the pesticide spray points out on its label that many greenfly are resistant - if any greenfly are reading this they can evolve resistance to being squished manually if they want by eating something other than our roses).
Went for a walk along Devil's Dyke on Sunday. Elderflower starting, and saw several yellow butterfies.
