Apple ice cream

I told oreouk I'd look for a recipe I'd used, but it doesn't seem to be in either of my ice-cream books, or in Delia. Ices has one which is "make vanilla ice cream, fold Bramley apple puree in to give a marbled effect before it is fully frozen". Possibly I used that but just stirred in evenly, probably with not-Bramleys (and omitting the vanilla bean, since we did plain vanilla as well).
