Guinea pigs
Dec. 18th, 2005 08:19 pmWe have three guinea pigs. Which is more than planned. We got one (male) from Alice's school on Friday, and it escaped into the hedge when the bottom fell off its cage when it got home. So we bought two females on Saturday (according to the book we have, guinea pigs like company but males together often fight). On Sunday morning, the first one was in the trap we put under the hedge (which had been empty at 2am (apart from hay and apple)). They are in seperate cages.
When I say "we", I was still at work on Friday and went to see my parents on Saturday. My mother managed to walk a few hundred metres round the garden on her crutches.
T and J's Christmas party on Sunday. I got my copy of The Four Musketeers signed (and finally gave P the plates for T and
guyelfkin).
