armbOlder son's birthday party went fairly well, but next year we're going back to just having a few friends to the cinema, trying to keep track of 17 kids was too much (didn't help that one of the worst behaved children's mother was there but did nothing to control him). Mostly resisted temptation to eat left-over nibbles.
Saturday I went swimming. Aching arms and shoulders probably had more to do with how long it's been since I last swum than how much energy I actually used. Then we went out for dinner.
List of things I hoped to get done at the weekend is almost as long as before. Oh well, next weekend doesn't have a party or dinner invitation, so might be more productive.
