Weekend BBQs.
Sep. 6th, 2004 02:13 pmSaturday afternoon friends from round the corner called to invite us to a barbeque, where much wine was drink. Sunday was the work punt party and barbeque, where much less alcohol was drunk, but a good time appeared to be had by all. We took Frodo (the puppy) who was surprisingly well behaved, much admired, and went swimming (it was a very hot day). Swimming pool at home has a dead heater, which we will worry about fixing next spring (or not bother with, or replace, or something). The Hibachi Dealers played.
Dynohub appears to have a quite a lot of drag, I'm hoping that at least some of it is mechanical and will be cured by cleaning (squirted much WD-40 in).
Took the boys to school on the U+2 this morning and then cycled into work. (Alice's car is poorly, booked into the garage in Ely tomorrow. We're wondering if we could manage with only one car longterm.)
