Every now and again iTunes tells me that it has assumed that since I hadn't listened to a podcast for a while, it's stopped subscribing to it.
i) Why can't it notice that I have been copying the podcasts to an iPod where they have been listened to?
ii) Is there a preference to say "just keep downloading them until I tell you to stop, don't guess"?

It seems as though no-one else around has iTunes, an iPod and podcasts - or doesn't have anything helpful or commiserating to say about the issue. :-/

I'm in the former category. Would it be foolish to suggest you try asking one of the manufacturers / service providers or on any forum of users they might have set up somewhere?

I'd forgotten I'd already mentioned that a while back.

Maybe time to actually do something, as [livejournal.com profile] uk_sef suggests.
