Kwik Fit rant.

On Wednesday I left a wheel (and a contact phone number) at Newmarket Road Kwik Fit for a tyre they said they would have to order and would have on Thursday, and that they closed at six. Thursday they said they didn't know why it hadn't arrived, but it would definitely be in done this morning. When I turned up shortly before six this evening, they mouthed "we're closed" though the window, and only eventually grudgingly unlocked the door to give me back my wheel - with its original tyre still on, and no explanation or apology.
(I'd bought a tyre there before when I had a puncture because it involved less fighting through Cambridge traffic when I needed to visit the shops there anyway, and it seemed the obvious place to look for a matching one (the new one has been the spare until now). But I shall look elsewhere now.)
