armb's top tip for trick or treaters - when walking along a road without a pavement, consider having a ghost or skeleton costume, or a pumpkin lantern, or a pale carrier bag, or something other than unrelieved black from head to toe for everybody.
Went to see Five Children and It, which we enjoyed. Dismantled washing machine to remove another bra underwire (Nana Pam's), which wasn't so fun. Sucked up lots of leaves from garden. Fiddled inconclusively with some old bike bits - not all 1" threaded steerers are created equal.
