Man thrown out of Labour conference for shouting "nonsense" at Jack Straw refused re-entry under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. He did at least get an apology later.

I only wish I found any of this surprising. Actually, that's not quite right - I do continue to be surprised that my opinion of this lot can sink still lower than it already was.

The irony, that Blair's argument after all this time still appears to boil down to "trust us - we won't abuse these powers we're granting ourselves", is overwhelming.
