Visa waivers

i) The USA visa waiver scheme doesn't apply if you have been arrested, even if the arrest didn't result in a conviction.
ii) The UK government want to make everything down to littering an arrestable offence (which doesn't necessarily mean that arrest will always be seen as the appropriate way to deal with them if the power isn't abused).

Hang on, didn't get that. "If...the power...isn't...abused"? No, sorry, those words don't make sense in that order...

This is how we do the police state thing. Not with revolutions and blood running in the gutters, but quietly, one law at a time, so that nobody stops it.

Can it be stopped?

We can still vote for someone else. The police state thing hasn't gone that far yet.
