Weekend BBQs.

Saturday afternoon friends from round the corner called to invite us to a barbeque, where much wine was drink. Sunday was the work punt party and barbeque, where much less alcohol was drunk, but a good time appeared to be had by all. We took Frodo (the puppy) who was surprisingly well behaved, much admired, and went swimming (it was a very hot day). Swimming pool at home has a dead heater, which we will worry about fixing next spring (or not bother with, or replace, or something). The Hibachi Dealers played.
Dynohub appears to have a quite a lot of drag, I'm hoping that at least some of it is mechanical and will be cured by cleaning (squirted much WD-40 in).
Took the boys to school on the U+2 this morning and then cycled into work. (Alice's car is poorly, booked into the garage in Ely tomorrow. We're wondering if we could manage with only one car longterm.)

Well, much less alcohol was drunk by those of us who were driving back from Cambridge afterwards and had been walking home the previous evening when we had a good weekend's share of alcohol already. I think less alcohol was drunk generally (per person, not overall), but I could be wrong (and we did leave fairly early, maybe it got boozier later on). Certainly lots of soft drinks were drunk generally.
