Bloody underfloor heating again

Two leaks on different manifolds this morning.
And they still haven't sent the parts I asked for after the last one.

[EDIT: three (3) leaks, with the third on yet another manifold - the one tucked behind the expansion vessel for the boiler circuit.]

Hmm. Underfloor heating is one of the things we thought we might do if we built at some point, but I have to admit your problems with it are making me reconsider that...

They do now use different pipes with different manifolds ("Co-incidence? I think not" said Bear). My parents have ruled it out on their planned new build though.
It is good when it works....

I can't see us ripping up floors or replacing ceilings to change this to a new underfloor system though - if we give up on it, it'll probably be for radiators. Or possibly add a heat pump to the existing heat recovery ventilation system in the loft to give hot air heating and air conditioning.

Hmm - maybe I'm glad I never got around to suggesting that we put underfloor heating into the extension...

Parts are now on their way, and we're going to get a service visit. (I phoned them on Tuesday, and then they phoned a couple of times on Wednesday.)
