muninnhuginn's reminded us we'd been meaning to look into box schemes. COFCo don't deliver as far out as us, but they recommended Waterland, and the first box arrived last night.
The runner beans tasted good, and the rest looks good. We did grow some runner beans ourselves, but let them get a bit stringy. We've now emptied the greenhouse of tomato plants (and filled a compost bin), but there are still some chilli peppers to harvest - must plant seeds earlier next year, and there are some main-crop potatoes left in the final square. Sunflower heads are drying in the kitchen for seeds (for birds and hamsters, mainly, probably).
