Water purification with tree seeds

You can clear turbid water with Moringa tree seeds:

This doesn't clear all bacteria or viruses, but solar disinfection doesn't work well with turbid water, so the combination of the two techniques could be very useful.

I don't expect to ever use this knowledge, but it's good to know that that sort of research is being done.
