Voted, not because I expect it to make a significant difference here in South-East Cambs, but if you don't make the effort, it never will.

The Lib Dems might get a bit of a boost from our new local Labour candidate having been suspended from the Labour party, along with the national swing, but it's still a fairly safe Tory seat.

(We do have a Green Candidate, who has apparently been sensibly spending his time helping the campaign in Cambridge City, where the Greens might get a significant percentage of the vote, rather than wasting his time here, where they won't. (He's also a City councillor who lives in the city.))

And, via various friends, a reminder that yes, it could still be worse under the Tories, and funny Common People video.

Now to wait and (probably) see if the friendly bicycle of new Dave Conservatism is followed by the SUV of old Conservatism.

[EDIT - result now in, Con hold, 2.7% swing Con->LD, Lab down 13.8% on last time.
